From Skin Struggles to Glowing Purpose

A few years ago, I found myself in what I lovingly call “skincare survival mode.” My face was dry, sensitive, and constantly angry at me—especially during winter. Switching products every few weeks hoping one of them would help. Most times, I ended up more frustrated than before. After endless products that promised miracles and delivered zero results I was disappointed and frustrated.

Right into the Himalayas

Born and raised in India, I spent my childhood in Reckong Peo, a tiny Himalayan town tucked away in the stunning Kinnaur Valley. Think snow-capped peaks, crisp air, and a community so warm you could toast bread with the kindness.

My childhood was steeped in homemade remedies, and even now my mom turns to those simple yet powerful rituals, a simple turmeric paste for gentle exfoliation. Rosewater to cool the skin. Fresh aloe straight from the garden. There is something magical about these rituals, and they never fail to work their wonders.

My Love Letter to Nature and Skin

Green Glow wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born out of frustration, nostalgia, and a serious obsession with finding better ways to care for skin.

With time, I blended that childhood wisdom with modern knowledge: I studied skincare formulation, took inspiration from the timeless traditions of Ayurveda, and began experimenting at home. What started as a personal experiment turned into something more — a desire to create skincare that felt comforting, clean, and transparent without compromising on results.

Every product at Green Glow is handcrafted by me, from first idea to the final packaging.
